Full-Time Career Counselor

Location: Houston West Campus - Houston, Texas

Champions School of Real Estate is seeking a full-time Career Counselor, who is a motivated team player, to work at our Houston West Campus. This individual will meet with potential and current students to assist with course selections and student registrations, be a primary point of contact for student support questions and inquiries, handle incoming phone calls for phone registrations, participate in campus career events and marketing initiatives, assist with the correspondence testing center, proctor exams, organize classroom materials for instructors, and support the Campus Manager with daily campus activities. A superior work ethic and exceptional customer service skills are required for this position.

Social Media Director

Location: Austin Campus - Austin, Texas

Champions School of Real Estate is seeking a strategically minded Social Media Director to join our team in Austin, TX! The ideal candidate will have the skills necessary is to leverage current social media channels by increasing student and customer engagement while adhering to the company brand and voice. In addition, this position will create content, help grow new audiences, find new strategies to extend the brand and foster meaningful engagement and a sense of community. To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate should be up to date on the latest social media trends, platforms, and technologies, marketing techniques, and use metrics to adapt these strategies and improve results. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment within a small team and be a self-starter. Experience interacting with department leads and company stakeholders at a privately held, women-led company is also helpful.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage, and execute social media post calendar
  • Develop and maintain brand initiatives, company awareness, and foster a sense of community in social media
  • Write and edit copy for social media with a focus on consistency in tone, voice, and terminology specific to the brand and real estate industry
  • Collaborate with teachers and students to develop success stories throughout various stages of their education and follow up on key milestones
  • Work with campuses and marketing teams to develop and execute creative multimedia posts
  • Assist in the management of live stream content on social channels
  • Develop strategies to increase online engagement, gain new followers, and grow subscribers
  • Reply and moderate all social media interaction on Facebook, Groups, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Gather, measure, and analyze data for social media campaigns
  • Monitor and report on customer satisfaction
  • Stay up to date with latest best practices and technologies
  • Proficient using social media tools such as Later, FB Business, Canva, Linktree, Sprout, Adobe Creative Cloud, and others
  • Experience in Analytics, SEO, CPC, CPM, and email marketing

  • Work with President to plan annual company events and order promotional items

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, new media, journalism, or related field
  • 5 years’ experience in social media management and digital marketing

  • Knowledge and experience working with a variety of social media platforms

Instructional Designer

Location: Austin Campus - Austin, Texas

Champions School of Real Estate is searching for an experienced Instructional Designer to develop the curriculum and content necessary for various online courses, and other educational products in the real estate, loan origination, inspection, and appraisal industries. The Instructional Designer participates in the entire content development process – from researching requirements and developing learning models to writing and testing content.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with subject matter experts to develop engaging e-Learning modules and content that meets the needs of the students
  • Research content design requirements from both student and regulatory aspects
  • Review work of staff including all content and assessments
  • Verify accuracy with reviewers and subject matter experts
  • Collaborates with real estate, loan origination, inspection, and appraisal divisions to ensure that the curriculum is meeting the needs of the market
  • Assist with the design and development of online course templates
  • Create innovative visuals, informational graphics, and multimedia to reinforce learning objectives
  • Edit educational video and add graphics and/or animations
  • Collaborate on the development of new interactions and activities
  • Provide input on improving workflow processes
  • Analyze, update, and refine existing online learning materials
  • Help build and maintain an asset library
  • Maintain new and existing content through ongoing data collection and input from students and instructors
  • Attend training and various meetings as required
  • Delivery of projects within established timeline
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

  • Three or more years of experience in developing instructional content, preferably for online deployment
  • BA/MA in Instructional Design, Marketing/Corporate Communications, Educational Psychology, English, Journalism or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to write and edit copy, instructional text, and video scripts
  • Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Google Workspace
  • Visual design (Creating informational videos and graphics)
  • Video editing and animation
  • Basic HTML/CSS and web development knowledge
  • Basic JavaScript and knowledge of Adapt framework a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and timelines
  • Strong interpersonal and superior written skills required
  • Superior attention to detail

Programmer & Systems Administrator

Location: Austin Campus - Austin, Texas

Champions School of Real Estate is looking for a multi-faceted experienced Programmer & Systems Administrator to join our online education development team in Austin, TX. The preferred candidate will help build, maintain, and grow current company e-commerce sites, as well as create and develop new market products for the education industry. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a creative team of individuals in a technology-driven, fast-paced environment with the mindset of continued growth through new product offerings.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years LAMP STACK experience – Linux based and command-line fluent
  • 5+ years of experience in creating and debugging code
  • Must be proficient in:
    • PHP
    • Python
    • JavaScript including jQuery, Ajax, Json, Node
    • NGINX experience a plus
    • Perl experience a plus
  • Ability to create/query MySQL databases (MariaDB) and utility with MongoDB
  • CSS & HTML5 experience - Browser grid fundamental understanding
  • Experience with Bootstrap with LESS
  • Google Cloud (GCE) hosting experience or Cloud hosting experience in general
