The Real Estate Negotiating Expert (RENE) certification is aimed at Real Estate professionals who want to hone their negotiation skills. It is the only negotiation certification recognized by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). The course aims to give REALTORS® the tips and tools they will need to be skillful advocates for their clients.

With this course, you will learn:

  • How to improve your negotiating skills
  • Behind-the-scenes issues and how to deal with them
  • To handle a wide range of personalities and situations
  • To sort out the competing objectives of the parties involved in a transaction

Steps to Earning an RENE Certification

Step 1 - Complete the Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) course.
Complete the two-day RENE class with Champions School of Real Estate®.
Step 2 - Submit your application and pay the application fee.
Visit https://www.rebinstitute.com/ to submit your online application and pay the $159.00 application fee.
Step 3 - Maintain good membership status with the National Association of Realtors (NAR)®.
All tuition fees include your first-year membership dues into designation associations. After your first year, the NAR® dues are $120 per agent. This amount is billed to all active REALTOR® and REALTOR® Associate members through their primary local association and is due by January 1st.
Step 4 - Display your RENE designation logo in your advertisements.
Once you have met all of your designation requirements, and officially been awarded your designation from the NAR, you may call yourself an RENE designee and display the RENE logo on all advertisements.

RENE Certification Course

The Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) Certification course is offered as a stand-alone course to anyone wanting to improve their negotiating skills. This 15-hour course can also be taken for CE credit in Texas only.
